WLST continues to search for stars August 7, 2006
The West London Sports Trust has expanded its beneficiary area to London boroughs in west and north-west London.
Priority is given to young people from Kensington & Chelsea and Ealing. Grants are also available for athletes from Harrow, Brent, Barnet, H&F, Westminster and Camden
Over the last 5 years the Trust has focused on Ealing, RBKC, Brent and Hammersmith. We would like to hear from anyone with the potential to achieve national standard in their sport within the next 2 years. You must either be a resident or go to school in one of our target boroughs.
Please contact us if know of any talented young athletes who live in these boroughs. If they fit the scholarship criteria then they will receive financial support towards their training as well as mentor support to ensure they balance education, sport and family commitments.
The Trust will be running a series of courses to help young coaches and athletes progress in performance sport. The full programme will be available later this year. |
